Depression

In light of the sadness of Robin Williams, is depression a disability, well it an disable us, make us unable to function in normal ways, screws our perspective.
A lot who are disabled get depression, seems to go hand in hand, if your in pain, or have something not working the way it's meant to you have something to feel depressed about.
Post Natal depression as I discovered is because your body has been severely traumatised and if any small thing is out of place or goes wrong can send you spiralling into an abyss without you even noticing.
Those who have depression in its own right, manic, clinical must feel like its a disability, those who suffer should talk to someone, anyone, a family member, a friend even support groups that are out there, remember you are not alone, nearly everyone has suffered some form of depression at some time.
Even though it is easier to build that wall and suffer in silence, this is not what we should do, it's a fact of our fast paced life that we think we should suck it up and carry on but we find that makes things worse, by talking it out we find it's not as bad as we thought.
We can't have a rainbow without a little rain
